What this site is
flight-compensation.co.uk gives general information about flight delay, cancellation and denied boarding compensation under UK261 and EU261, and tools such as a calculator and a flight check. We are independent. We are not an airline, we are not affiliated with any airline, and we are not part of any regulator or alternative dispute resolution body.
The names ChatGPT, OpenAI, Claude, Grok, Copilot, WhatsApp and any airline names on this site belong to their owners. We use them only to describe where the service works or which airline a page is about.
Information, not legal advice
What we publish is general information and is not legal advice. The rules, amounts and time limits on the site were checked on 17/10/2026 and can change. For official guidance see the sources linked on the home page, such as the UK Civil Aviation Authority.
The flight check and calculator
- They give an indication, based only on the answers you enter. We do not look up your flight or check what actually happened.
- A result of "eligible" or "not eligible" is not a guarantee. An airline may give a reason that changes the outcome, and a claim may be refused or take longer than expected.
- You are responsible for checking that what you enter is correct.
Claims
Nothing is sent to an airline in your name without your approval. Sending the claim-interest form tells us you are interested and lets us reply. It does not start a claim or create a contract for a claim service. Using the flight check is free. If we offer a claim service, any terms and charges will be set out clearly before you agree to anything.
Using the site
Please use the site lawfully. Do not try to disrupt it, copy it in bulk, or send us false or misleading information.

We link to official and third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content.
Our responsibility to you
We take care to keep the site accurate, but we cannot promise it is always complete, up to date or available. We are not responsible for losses that result from relying on the site alone or from events outside our control.
